Big News

August, 2015

God has once again provided abundantly. As it stands now we will have lights installed on our football field in time for the first home game. Look for updates on future sports news.

It has been a very busy summer. Much has happened since our teams won State and National Championships last year. We have added a world class Athletic Director in Justin Stephens. His passion and wisdom will guide a phenomenal group of coaches committed to our Crusaders.

Joining Coach Stephens is our Assistant Athletic Director, Tammy DeSouza. Mrs. DeSouza has worked all summer getting uniforms, equipment, and schedules ready for the coming year. Her drive and determination has created a formidable team with Justin to lead our athletic department as we grow and keep our sites on athletic excellence committed to Christ.

Three teams have worked throughout the summer in preparation for the coming school year. The new Varsity Cheerleading squad is back and has had a busy summer. They went to summer camp and came back with recognition for their performance and Godliness. Way to go, Lady Crusaders! Special thanks to Mrs. Mayne and Mrs. McDaniel for their leadership with the ladies.

The Varsity Volleyball squad has also been hard at work this summer. They are preparing to play a demanding varsity schedule. Their conditioning and hard work in the gym will make them a force to be reckoned with. Thank you Miss Rhodes, Miss Peacock, and Kristen for all of your hard work with the Lady Crusaders.

Finally, the 2015 Varsity Football Team is preparing to defend their State and National titles. They have worked all summer in conditioning and on the field getting ready for the season. The young men have their eyes on repeating and have given 100% in the weight room and football field. Special thanks to Coach Paul and the fathers who work by his side.

God’s word tells us that without vision the people perish. Our coaches and athletes see God’s vision for their teams and will make this a memorable season!

Go ‘Saders!
